BarChat (hereafter 'the System') does not exist to store user data — it exists to incinerate it. We believe that the permanent retention of conversations is the greatest threat to individual freedom.

2. Data Lifespan

The System enforces the following strict incineration rules:

General Chat: Permanently destroyed from the System 3 minutes (180 seconds) after being sent.

Pinned Posts and Ads: Removed from the database without trace the moment their scheduled posting period ends.

Filtering Process: Even the AI-based conversation filtering occurs only inside the server's volatile memory (RAM), and is shredded immediately upon processing. No log is ever written to disk.

3. Physical Security Architecture: [The Barcode Barrier]

BarChat defends against virtual hacking threats with a physical barrier.

Users can only access or interact with the System by physically scanning a real-world barcode.
